About the Yacht
Blue Skies is a 35-foot CHB Taiwanese trawler on San Francisco Bay. She combines classic nautical charm with genuine comfort — solid teak wood varnished inside and out, 360-degree views from an oversized flybridge, wrap-around panoramic windows in the main salon, and two private restrooms.
For groups of up to 6, Blue Skies delivers a truly private on-water experience. There is no shared deck, no strangers, and no compromise. Your group has the entire vessel — the flybridge, the salon, the galley, and the sound system. Pair your playlist, pop your champagne, and let the crew handle everything else.
The trawler hull design makes Blue Skies exceptionally stable and comfortable underway, even in typical Bay chop. Whether guests want the wind in their faces on the flybridge or the warmth of the salon while watching the cityscape roll by through floor-to-ceiling windows — Blue Skies delivers both.
Popular experiences include Giants games and concerts from McCovey Cove, July 4th fireworks, Fleet Week air show viewing, Angel Island picnics, sunset cruises, Sam's in Tiburon waterfront lunch, and intimate celebrations. The crew is experienced with ash scattering ceremonies for those honoring a loved one on the Bay.
BYO food and drinks — use the onboard refrigerator, microwave, and galley. No corkage fee, no restrictions. Depart from Alameda (free parking) or Pier 15 in San Francisco (additional docking fee apply) near the Exploratorium.
