Every Yaachtly charter is your group only. There are no tickets, no shared decks, no strangers at the rail — you book the vessel, not seats on it. That's the difference between a charter and the ticketed cruise boats you've seen from the shore, and it changes everything about the day: your music, your route, your pace, your people.
What a yacht charter actually costs
Most operators make you call for a quote. We'd rather you just know. Whole-yacht rates on the Bay run by vessel class: intimate cruises for up to six guests from $675–$700 per hour, a three-deck motor yacht for up to twelve from $1,750, private event yachts hosting 110–120 guests from $2,300, and a 92-foot superyacht from $3,400. Dockside private-chef dinners are priced per person instead — $190–$225, all-in. Minimums are two hours for dinners and small-yacht cruises, three for event and superyacht charters. The rate covers the yacht, captain, and crew — it is never a per-person ticket.
Choosing the right yacht for your group
Match the headcount first. Two to six guests: an intimate cruise — a classic teak yacht or a two-deck motor yacht. Up to twelve: the three-deck motor yacht cruise or a seated private-chef dinner at the dock. Fifty to one-hundred-twenty: the event yachts, with seated dining for 72–80 and full dance floors. From there, pick by occasion — cruising, dining, or a full event.

What to bring (and what to leave)
Layers, above all — the Bay cools fast on the water even when the city is warm. Soft-soled shoes for the deck. On the classic yacht and at every chef dinner, bring your own drinks with no corkage fee. Leave behind: any boating experience whatsoever. Your captain and crew handle navigation, safety, and docking; your only job is the view.

Charters run rain or shine in typical Bay conditions — heated salons and covered decks exist for a reason, and some of the best Bay days are the moody ones.
