Private Yacht Dining in San Francisco

Yaachtly's private yacht dining is a chef-prepared meal served onboard, for your group only, on San Francisco Bay. A private chef cooks a full menu aboard the yacht — dockside in Alameda or while cruising the Bay — with cuisines from omakase and sushi to Italian, Mediterranean, Creole, and paella. It's the differentiator behind the fleet: a restaurant-grade meal in a private setting on the water.

Dining experiences are priced per guest, from $190, and typically run two hours for groups of up to twelve. Whole-boat cruises with dining added are quoted per event.

Our chefs and menus

Meals are prepared onboard by our private chefs — Brandon, Jennifer, Lukas, Nobu, and Sidney — across a rotating range of cuisines: omakase, sushi, Italian, Mediterranean, Creole, and dockside party menus. Menus are matched to your group and dietary needs when you book.

Frequently asked questions

What's included in the per-person dining price?

Everything on the table: your private chef, the full menu, service, and the yacht itself dockside for two hours. You bring only your drinks and your guests. It's restaurant-style all-in pricing — no venue fee, no rental charge stacked on top.

How does BYO alcohol work at a yacht dinner?

Bring whatever you'd like to drink — wine, sake, champagne, cocktails — with zero corkage fee. The crew handles glassware, chilling, and service. Most guests pair their own bottles to the cuisine they've booked.

Will anyone get seasick at a dockside dinner?

No — the yacht never leaves the dock. You get the setting, the water views, and the decks to wander between courses, with none of the motion. It's the answer for groups where someone worries about seasickness.

Can our group split the payment?

The booking is made and paid by one host online. Many groups split costs among themselves afterward — the per-person pricing makes the math easy.

Can we extend the dinner beyond two hours?

Often, yes — extensions are quoted on request and subject to the evening's schedule. Mention it at booking and we'll confirm what's possible for your date.

How do dietary restrictions work?

Note allergies and restrictions at booking and the chef adapts courses individually — vegetarian, gluten-free, shellfish allergies, and more are routine. From six guests, the entire menu can be customized with the chef.

Which cuisines can we choose for a private chef dinner?

Nine formats: omakase, sushi, Italian, Mediterranean, Creole, Californian five-course, Spanish paella, gourmet bites, and brunch — each with its own chef-built menu, all served aboard a docked 80-foot motor yacht in Alameda.

Is a yacht dinner good for a small celebration?

It's built for them — birthdays, anniversaries, intimate rehearsal dinners, and client dinners for two to twelve guests. Private table, private decks, golden-hour views, and a chef cooking for your party alone.
